201 Consecutive Wins In Dragon Arena
The night before last, the guilds Don't P I S S In The [ Wind ] and Don't Pwn Us Again [Plz], along with friends from many other guilds such as Rebel Rising and I Disposable Heros I achieved a massive 201 consecutive wins in dragon arena (or 'dodgeball' as the guilds know it).
We believe this to be a record that no one else has achieved. Screen shots will be added later today, since they are stored on various pc's around the world.
We played for 13 hours solid and were lucky when a couple of players dropped out and we were able to sync more of us in.
The tiredness and burning eyes plagued us as we played, with the guild leader of [ Wind ] (De La Gimper) resorting to putting ice on his eyeballs...
If anyone's achieved higher than 201 wins (when we chose to finnish due to tiredness) i'd be happy to know about it, however I doubt this has ever been achieved before... We hope to beat this record ourselves before tuesday is up.
Long live dodgeball!

Max Ive managed before being bored was about 45 wins in a random team.
Ahh, way to ruin the fun of loads of players there with syncing btw.

As mentioned you probably ruined the fun for a lot of people because you were syncing.
Only played it once and noticed that everyone on my team was from the same guild so knew syncing would be a problem. Got enough for 2 Z-keys then everyone on my team leaves, decided to leave to instead of getting all new players. Haven't went back to it.

Syncing Dragon Arena is nothing like syncing Random Arenas. In Dragon Arena it's all about skill, thus puggies will have a chance, in Random Arenas .. synced builds tend to stomp through pugs no matter skill.
Back on thread, awesome job getting to 201.

You still have better communication (vent).
Really makes the other team need to be SUPER GOOD and/or bots.

People who actually know how to win in Dragon Arena are so rare that I would say synching is even more abusive that it is in RA. If you play a team that has even one clueless person all you need to do is dodge constantly and take that person down over and over.

Eh, not really. The only challenge would be if you actually went up against another full group that synched in, and even then there's a good chance that they will just suck.
201 wins through synching is impressive in terms of endurance, maybe.

No, Syncing in either Arena is cheap because you would probably be on TS or Vent and automatically have an upper hand because of communication.
The only difference between the 2 games is that DA has a set build and att points (zero), whereas RA has Mending healing hands Wammos (last time I ran in there with my necro I was grouped with 3 of them ).
The only reason I gave up after 45 wins was because I was bored out of my mind and really tired at 1AM.
Another thing which makes syncing cheap is you can and will also have players on the other team who didnt manage to sync on the right side running leeroy giving free wins.

Pretty fail bragg thread. I think the real accomplishment is playing 13 hrs straight without going insane. There are guilds and teams who win in TA until they get bored, against decent competition no less. Synching games like Snowball arena or DA is like a group of ringers competing in the special olympics - Most of the competition is made up of pve'ers, and it's very rare to run into a team with more than 2 good players. Find a weak link and the game's over.

I didn't mention anything about skill, I said it was downright impressive (and yes, I meant the time aspect)

I played for 2 hours straight earlier today. It was the worse thing ever in GW, now my back hurts even more than it did. I can only imagine how horrible it is to play for 13 hours. o.o

Wow, you know how to sync and to dodge slowly flying ball. I'm impressed.
I wonder who will play you in the movie.
If RA didn't force you to TA after 10 wins we'd probably have threads with people bragging about how they managed to get 4336 cons wins and synched.
